Bearden shut out West 9-0 on Friday night in the Bulldogs’ season opener.

The Bulldogs got points on the board early, after senior Caleb Wilkins ran the ball into the end zone from 1-yard out. From that point forward, Bearden relied on its stout defense.

In the second quarter, after a loose ball on a West snap, senior Addison Ironside forced a safety to put Bearden up 9-0 headed into the second half.
