Bearden’s Choral Department will have a concert Tuesday in the BHS auditorium at 7 p.m.

There will be performances from Bearden’s Concert choir, Cantanti, and B Natural Female Acapella as well as guest performances from the West Valley Middle School ensemble choir and the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choirs.

“We invite West Valley so we can support the future singers of Bearden, and hopefully get them excited to be a part of our program,” said Tori Sokolow, a first year senior choir singer.

“Being a first year senior, I couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls. Being able to sing in the kitchen with these girls at 2 a.m. is definitely something special. The relationships we have formed in the group are amazing and I’ve loved seeing how, as we grow closer as a group, our sound grows better as a choir.”

Admission for the joint concert is free, and tickets will be handed out at the door.

“We just want people to come out and enjoy a night of music from the talented kids in our community,” Sokolow said. “The community’s presence is priceless to us.”

Choir director Mr. Evan Headrick is also excited to see the two schools’ choirs perform again together as his debut concert directing at Bearden was a joint performance with West Valley Middle School as well.
