The Bearden dance team returned to nationals this year and doubled their success from a year ago when they won their first ever national title.

Last season, the team took home the national title for Large Varsity Pom, and this season they won a double-title in Medium Varsity Pom and Large Varsity Gameday.

The team’s victory in Large Varsity Gameday made history, as they were the first team to ever win the event.

“The feeling of coming back after last year’s incredible season and outdoing ourselves with two additional national championships is indescribable,” junior Lauren Hall said.
