Expectations are high for the girls soccer team this year with some key returning seniors set to complement and mentor a talented freshman class.
That is probably most evident in senior forward Abby Brewer mentoring freshman forward Brinley Murphy.
Murphy’s position as a major contributor to the program as a freshman is a reminder of Brewer’s 2016 season when she was in the same position as a standout freshman alongside senior Taylor Frizen.
“It’s awesome for me that [Murphy’s] got players like Abby and Taylor [Cross] playing up there with her who have provided valuable minutes as freshmen so they can be those guidance factors with Brinley,” Coach Ryan Radcliffe said.
