The girls basketball team is on a six-game winning streak since its last loss on Jan. 21 at Maryville, and the Lady Bulldogs are the No. 1 seed in District 4-AAA tournament.

“A loss kind of helps you refocus on the little things, defensively some concepts we needed to make sure we did, every possession counts,” Coach Justin Underwood said.

Last week, the Lady Bulldogs won the outright regular season district title after beating rival Farragut, meaning they earned a double bye in the tournament to Friday’s district semi-final against Heritage at 4:30 p.m.
