The Bulldogs sent eight wrestlers to the state tournament this year in their individual weight classes, and seven of those will return to Bearden next year.

Coach Donnie Floyd said he was also proud of how his team challenged some of the big names in the area.

“We really did good in districts and regions this year, pushing Maryville especially,” Coach Floyd said.
